Hello, Just a team I made recently and it has done fairly well getting me to about 1550 on the SU ladder before I stopped laddering(I get really aggravated when I lose to hax so I don't ladder much ). Anyways here's the team.
Also on a Side note this if like the first team I've posted in about a year O_O;;
Relaxed Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability - Torrent
252 HP / 4 Attack / 252 Defense
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Roar
-Ice Beam
Swampert is one of my favorite pokemon in the game, and is a very reliable person to get stealth rocks up with. Roar helps me prevent pokemon from setting up on swampert, aswell as inflicting more secondary damage and scouting their team. Ice beam is for Salamence/Dragonite as well as opposing gliscor leads who like to stay in and taunt me predicting the stealth rock.
Adamant Lucario @ LifeOrb
Ability - Innfer Focus
252 Attack / 4 Def / 252 Speed
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-Crunch
-Extreme Speed
Lucario is on of the deadliest sweepers in the current metagame, ans was the pokemon I based my team around. He generally come in on a pursuit / crunch aimed at latias, and will begin to setup, if the opponents lucario counter is gone or weakened then the game is basically over at this point.
Timid Latias @ LifeOrb
Ability - Levitate
-Draco Meteor
-Hidden Power Fire
-Grass Knot
-Recover
Latias is Lucarios main sweeping partner, and together they handle pretty much anywall, and latias often gives lucario the chance to setup that he desperately needs since many people attempt to use a dark type move to finish off latias it gives me an easy chance to set up with lucario. Hidden power fire takes care of scizor, although I usually have to predict as to whether they bullet punch or pursuit, and grass knot helps a great deal against opposing swamperts, aswell as tyranitar if I can predict the switch.
Jolly Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability - Sand Stream
252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 hp
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
Tyranitar provides a cover to fast ghost types that I need to get out of the way, such as gengar and choice scarf rotom-A, Which could provide a lot of trouble for both lucario and latias. So I simply decided to go with tyranitar and slap a choice scarf on him so that he could outspide non scarfed gengars and avoid a focus blast.
Bold Rotom-H @ Leftovers
Ability - Levitate
252 Defense / 4 Special attack / 252 Hp
-Will-o-Wisp
-Thunderbolt
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
Rotom-H acts as my gyara and scizor counter as well as my spin blocker. Both of which are vital for being able to pull off a sweep with lucario since gyara and salamence are often counters used for him on offensive teams, and without stealth rock it would be very hard to finish them off. Rotom-H also works extremely well with Tyranitar covering almost all of his weaknesses. Rotom-H also acts as my status absorber(mainly for sleep.
Adamant Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability - Technician
244 HP / 252 Attack / 12 Speed
-Bullet Punch
-U Turn
-Pursuit
-Super Power
CB Scizor is my Mence counter, and also comes in on his many resistances to U-turn on switches and provide my team with momentum aswell as weakening up the opponents team members.
Team Building Process(Just if your wondering how I went about making it ;O)
-Started off with Lucario and I knew I needed a sweeping partner so I chose Latias, and as explained up above the work extremely well together
-Then I listed out the main counters to lucario, and what I came up with was roughly - CSRotom-A, Gyara, Mence, Gliscor, Hippowdon, Gengar. These aren't all the counters, just the ones I felt I needed to focus on.
-I chose tyranitar to handle the ghosts, and then Rotom-A because he works well with tyranitar in general, and can also handle mence.
-After I hode those 4 I needed another steel to take hits for my team since I didnt want lucario taking them, and I also needed a mence counter. Answer? Scizor.
-Then I simply chose a reliable stealth rock lead who could help clear up some weaknesses : swampert.
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks!.
