    Who's your 'go to' Pokemon?

Which Pokemon do you always end up with on your team at some point in the games?

Personally Raichu is one of my favorites. No matter how hard i try to fight it, i always end up catching a Pikachu to train up to level 41 before using my thunderstone. I think it's more or less because there aren't many 'cool' electric types out there. Gen 2 gave me the Ampharos line but other than that, for me it's Raichu or bust!

I always used to catch a Sandshrew in the first gen.
    Pineco in the 2nd Gen.
    Torkoal in the 3rd!

Ooh, Sandshrew's another favorite of mine, but it's gotten to the point that i realize i can only go so far with Sandslash, so i can resist them.

Sandshrew is one of my fave Pokemon!

Only topped by: Swellow, Ambipom, Gligar and Pachirisu (Since it is an epic Electric Squirel ;D) Smile

For me, Houndoom. After seeing Karen's Houndoom, I wanted one so badly! When I FINALLY found where to get a Houndour, I spent the time to find one, catch it, raise it, evolve it, and never looked back afterwards! 3rd gen I used it in both Colosseum and XD, and traded it over into Emerald to use in the Battle Frontier. And then in 4th gen, I pal parked it up into my Diamond, and caught and raised one in Platinum.

So yeah, Houndoom is my "go to" pokemon.

Rhyperior has always been my go to guy. To me its almost the perfect blend of power and defense.

Salamence FTW! He is my favorite go-to poke b/c he covers a lot of different types and even if he doesn't he can DD up enough to be able to take out the opposing poke. He's also got a pretty nice design.

In the 1st and 2nd Gen, it had to be a Geodude. Somehow, it just gets into my party.
